Wednesday Update

October 20, 2010

Sorry for the long silence. I’ve been packing, and packing, and packing. Today is the day. We’re loading the truck and heading for Houston, Texas. I’m going to be on the road and impossible to reach for the next four days. After that, I’ll unpack. By Monday, I should be set up in my new office and starting to rev on the business of agenting. Thanks for all your patience.

Hope everything goes well, and you don’t get any of those little “surprises” moves like this tend to generate.

    Hello Denise

Have a safe journey. I do not envy you unpacking and getting right back into work. I grew up in Corpus Christie and loved living in Texas.

You’re worth the wait. Drive safely and happy landing. I hope you have help on the other end. Packing was just the beginning. Now you have to unpack. Do the spices first and then take your sweet time with all the rest – except of course our manuscripts.

I hope you’ve got a good road trip playlist, that’s a long drive!

      Audio books!

Good one! Though, five minutes into an audio book, I’m dozing off. They’re detrimentally relaxing.

Moving is no fun and to have a road trip to get from A to B makes it all the harder. Good luck and save trip vibes. Don’t speed!

Glad to hear the moves finally under way. Good Luck with everything, and hope nothing gets broken during shipping. After you get there, take your time with the manuscripts to make the best choices. (Fingers & toes crosses still hoping I make the cut) LOL Chris

Hope everything goes smoothly! I hate moving. I always get this great sense of accomplishment when everything is packed and cleaned and neat. Then I get to the new place and go “Whaddya mean I gotta take it all out again? Do you know how long it took to pack in the first place?!”

    But that’s just me. πŸ™‚

I understand moving can be the third most stressful event in life. I hope your trip goes well and that you keep safe. Thanks for the updates.
